Instructions
1. Click "Start," "My Computer," "Manage." The Computer Management snap-in appears.
2. Select "Device Manager." A list of devices on your computer appears.
3. Expand "Port" and double-click on your modem port. This is typically available on COM2.
4. Select the "Port Settings" tab and choose "128000" from the pull-down menu.
5. Select "Hardware" from the "Flow Control" pull-down menu. Leave the other default values and click "OK."
You are now ready to browse the Internet via dial-up with faster speeds.
